Furniture Society is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization founded in
1996, whose mission is: To advance the art of furniture making, by inspiring
creativity, promoting excellence, and fostering an understanding of
this art and its place in society.
The Furniture Society strives bring those involved in the field of
studio furniture together.
The Artisans
Center of Virginia (ACV) was established to create and
maintain a statewide center dedicated to the work of Virginia Artisans.
The Artisans Center
is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) visual arts organization and was named
the state’s official center for fine craft by the Virginia General
Assembly.
Electronic
Cottage Online Gallery is a direct connection between those individuals
who enjoy
purchasing originally created handmade art &
craft work, and those professionals who enjoy
creating that work. EC was established by artists who
have been long-term exhibitors at the
best juried crafts festivals all around the United States.
