Cherry and Red
Oak, Oil/Polyurethane/Beeswax Finish
This
chair was designed as a set of four to complement a
dining
table I made by commission. It shares the same woods, and the
design of the crest rail is a bent lamination similar to the backbone
of the dining table, using a combination of cherry and red oak. The
seat is contoured and padded with 2 inches of foam and two layers of
batting. As with all my chairs, the upholstery continues on the bottom
of the seat to make a finished look.
