This piece is practical as well as beautiful. It has sufficient height so necklaces may be hung from brass pegs inside the curved door, and the pivoting drawers will not fall out while selecting jewelry. The sides, doors, and the curved parts of the drawers are formed from glued bent laminations giving the piece a graceful feel despite its ample capacity. The hand shaped pulls provide a firm, yet sensuous feel to the fingers. The bottoms of the drawers are lined with soft velvet to protect fine jewelry.
