 For over
thirty years
I have designed and built solid hardwood furniture. My pieces have
withstood the rigors of raising my daughters, Amy and Lisa,
and numerous moves while I served a thirty year career as a United
States Naval
Officer.
Now, my wife Kathy and I have settled in the
secluded
woods in Northumberland
County on the Northern
Neck
of Virginia, where I have
built my workshop,
complete with sawmill
and lumber drying kiln.
Here I cut, mill, and dry
lumber
from local hardwood trees which fall in storms or which have to be
felled for
other reasons, and I use that lumber to create my own design of
furniture to
be used every day and appreciated. Perhaps one of my pieces would
